GIANNA SMITH

GIANNA began Muay Thai in 2012 at the Five Points Academy. Within nine months she had her first fight and found herself immersed in Thai Boxing. She has traveled to and trained extensively in Thailand, some of the gyms she has trained at are Sitjaopho, Sitsongpeenong, Revolution Phuket and FA Group.

In her 20+ fights she has earned numerous titles and recognition as a highly technical fighter.

As her fight career was winding down due to injuries, she began her transition to coaching and teaching Muay Thai. Gianna draws from her extensive fight and training experience and is able to break down techniques for both beginners and advanced students. Having begun Muay Thai at a much later age than many of her peers she understands better than most, the needs of beginners while never neglecting the technical nuances that allowed her to earn her titles and to represent the United States on the world stage.

Ever one to continue challenging herself she began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2018 and is currently a Blue Belt with numerous tournament wins.  She is also a StrongFirst Barbell certified instructor.
